Wordless Wednesday....

Snow Days...

Living only about 25 minutes from the mountains is great! We live far enough that we do not have to deal with it on a day to day basis, but we can visit whenever we like! 

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids to Wrightwood to go sledding. We had so much fun! The kids couldn't get enough of the snow & would have been out there all day if they could.

The day was beautiful!

It's Been How Long?

I just realized it has been over a month since my last post! I know it's a little late but here is a roundup of Lexie's Slumber Party.

~note to self, 12 pre-teen girls for a sleepover is about 6 to many, ha!

Even though I was ex-haus-ted the next day, the girls had a blast, and that's all that matters right? Susan (my sis) came over to help me so i am grateful to her for that. Daddy & Ryan stayed at my mom's for the night which was great because we all know how little brothers are, right?

On to the pics! Here are a few of the decorations. Have I mentioned before how much I love my Cricut? No, well i do ;) It would have taken me for-e-ver to cut up all of the stars one by one!

After that they watched a movie & had ice cream sunday's. And there may or may not have been shaving cream involved in some pranking ;)

The girls had a blast and i am sure many of them had a little nap the next day ;) 

Eleven

This girl is eleven years old today.....

Wow, has time flown by....

It seems like only yesterday she was this perfect little bald headed baby...

And now I am decorating for her slumber party tonight!

Sew many gifts, sew little time....

This year for Christmas I really wanted to make most of my gifts and I am so pleased that I was able to make about half of them.  (Next year I hope to make almost all of them)

So this past month, between all of my orders and gifts, I was doing a whole lot of this

And let me tell you, my hubby is sure glad we have our dining room table back. Boy do I wish I had a craft room. A girl can dream right?
